Voyager files for bankruptcy but Otherside load test is a smash

A quick bit of news to fire you on your way today. And it’s a tale of two bear markets. On the one hand we have Voyager Digital who have just filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, just the latest sorry chapter in this deeply sorry saga. As we reported on Monday, in their July 1st update the team stated they were suspending trading, deposits, withdrawals and loyalty rewards in order to explore strategic alternatives and preserve the value of the Voyager platform we have built together. Five days later comes the announcement that has commenced a voluntary Chapter 11 process to “maximize value” for all stakeholders. But this ‘Plan of reorganization” would resume account access and return value to customers.
