HBO is set to air a new documentary claiming to have solved the mystery of Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity. Polymarket users are punting that it will name Len Sassaman, a cypherpunk who took their own life in 2011, as Bitcoin’s pseudonymous founder.
Markets rallied ahead of September’s CPI report, due to be released on Thursday. BTC and ETH jumped 2% while SOL and DOT gained 3% and 1%, respectively. Sui surged 20% to become the day’s top gainer.
EigenLayer attributed a recent EIGEN sale worth $5.6 million closely linked to a team wallet to a compromised email.
The transaction count of Ethereum’s scaling ecosystem has slumped to its lowest level since June. Base adoption continues to soar despite the pullback.

HBO will air a documentary on Oct. 8 it claims will unmask Satoshi Nakamoto. Polymarket punters are betting the documentary is most likely to name cypherpunk Len Sassaman as Bitcoin’s mysterious founder, followed by Adam Back, the co-founder and CEO of Blockstream, Nick Szabo, the cryptographer and computer scientist, and Hal Finney, the deceased Bitcoin contributor.

BTC rose 1.7% to $63,800, while ETH climbed 1.5% to $2,500. Most major cryptocurrencies posted gains ahead of a busy week packed with significant U.S. economic data releases, including Federal Reserve meeting minutes and the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
