Runescape-Inspired MMO Cambria Announces Expansion to Ronin Network

Cambria, a Runescape-inspired massive multiplayer online (MMO), plans to expand from Ethereum Layer 2 Blast to the gaming-focused blockchain, Ronin Network.
Following the announcement, Cambria’s freshly minted “Founders” NFT collection rallied to .4 ETH from .28 ETH, after minting out at 0.1 ETH on Sept. 17. The Founders NFTs will provide holders “in-game utility that scales over time held, and is directly tied to your history of achievements and contributions.”

Ronin Network is home to an array of successful GameFi titles, such as Axie Infinity and Pixels Online, and the expansion will allow both Ronin and Blast natives to access the game.
“Ronin has the strongest value prop for the millions of gamers that are (and will be) flooding into the best crypto games,” said Cambria founder BEN.ZZZ. “Both of these chains are uniquely thoughtful in their approaches to attracting and incentivizing builders that optimize for hypergrowth, and we think their existing network effects will continue to compound.”
Cambria raised $2.5 million in funding led by Bitkraft Ventures in July, and users kept busy by playing the game’s various playtests. The early alpha stage is slated to launch in October.
