Crypto Game InfiniGods Prepares for GOD Token Airdrop

InfiniGods, a mobile crypto game with over 2.2 million cumulative downloads, is preparing to launch its native token, GOD.

The GOD token will be split amongst the ecosystem’s NFT holders, with 4.25% going to InfiniPass holders, 3.25% to Elder Gods NFTs, and 9.5% for God Vault NFT holders.

The Elder Gods and InfiniPass NFTs trade for 0.2 ETH and 0.48 ETH, while the God Vaults trade for 0.12 ETH.

There is no set date for the token generation event (TGE). Still, the InfiniGods chief marketing officer (CMO) Bry DiSanto hinted the airdrop is coming, posting on X “January. The time is nigh.” 

InfiniGods is a mobile gaming studio that launched in 2022 following a $9 million seed round led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Framework Ventures, and Animoca Brands. The company raised an additional $8 million in April 2024, and a $1.3 million strategic round in December led by Arete Capital.

The studio’s flagship game, King of Destiny. has amassed over 2 million downloads according to Sensor Tower, and has also released two other games, Immortal Siege and InfiniMerge.

The token drop comes alongside a hot period for crypto gaming. The sector is seeing renewed interest as new games such as OnChain Heroes prepare for release. OnChain Heroes, which will launch on Abstract Chain, minted out its genesis NFT collection on Dec. 12 for 0.2 ETH per NFT.

The OCH Genesis rings have surged more than 15x to a 3.5 ETH floor price, and the collections 1/1 NFT sold for 11 ETH, or $36,000 on Jan 9.
