Stocktwits Launches Cryptotwits to Offer Crypto Insights to Over 10 Million Investors

Stocktwits, a social network for investors and traders, has launched Cryptotwits, a new platform designed to deliver real-time data and insights to cryptocurrency users.

The platform launches with over 17,000 coin pages, real-time sentiment indicators, and features like a trending bar and customizable watchlists, according to a press release viewed by The Defiant. And because Cryptotwits is integrated with Stocktwits, it will give over 10 million users automatic access to the new tools.

Grayscale, which manages over $20 billion in digital assets, is the official asset manager partner. Grayscale will also serve as the Title Partner for “Cryptotwits Daily” – a new short-form show covering crypto news, market analysis, and trends.

Meanwhile, Gemini has joined as the official centralized exchange (CEX) partner. As part of the deal, a feature called Watchlist, which enables users to track coins in real time, will be offered to users.

Stocktwits was first launched in 2008 as a Twitter application by Howard Lindzon and Soren McBeth. It has raised $43.4 million over nine funding rounds; most recently, it received $30 million in Series B funding in 2021, according to Tracxn.
