What is Ambire Legends

Ambire Legends is an onchain game with exciting quests exclusive to Ambire browser extension early testers, particularly to user’s smart accounts. It is a gamified testing campaign - users of the wallet test the Ambire extension, participate in fun quests, earn XP and get rewarded for it in the future. The Ambire community recently decided, as part of a governance vote, to allocate 195 million $WALLET tokens towards the reward pool for extension launch incentives. The game launched on Thursday, December 12th, 2024.

Game participants get to mint a soulbound NFT character, and completing onchain actions and events earns them experience points to help them advance their level and their character. Thrilling quests to earn XP on Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, and Scroll await Ambire extension users. Whether it’s challenging their luck with the daily "Wheel of Fortune" or discovering the power of transaction batching and gasless transactions, inviting friends to the exciting world of Web3, or just managing their personal assets, every task or action they conquer brings XP. How to participate in Ambire Legends

Joining Legends is really easy! Just follow the below 3 steps:

Step 1: Get the Ambire Wallet extension - if you do not have it yet, go to ambire.com/get-extension and download it.

*To unlock the extension, you will need an invite code - you can use the special code 'defiantlegends' to access it!

Step 2: Create a Smart Account* by using one of the following options: import an existing seed phrase, create a new seed phrase, or connect a hardware wallet.

Step 3: Connect your Smart Account to the Ambire Legends dApp and begin your onchain adventure! Please note that the dApp is desktop only and it is only for using the Ambire extension.

What do I need to participate?

You need to have unlocked access to the Ambire wallet browser extension (a code to unlock can be found further up), as well as a Smart Account to connect to the Legends dApp with.

How can I create a Smart Account on the Ambire extension?

Simply import a seed phrase for an existing hot wallet, or connect a hardware wallet, and derive a Smart Account from it. Alternatively, you can create a new hot wallet and derive a Smart Account from its new seed phrase.

Can I participate with more than one Smart Account?

If you are using more than one Smart Account to manage your assets in the Ambire extension, then you can participate in Ambire Legends with all your Smart Accounts.

Can basic (EOA) accounts participate in Legends?

No, only Smart Accounts created using the Ambire extension can participate in Ambire Legends. However, you get rewarded with XP for linking and connecting an EOA, in particular Legends quests.

Can I change my character?

No, once you mint your character, you are no longer able to change it.

What are the rewards for Ambire Legends?

Currently, you earn XPs to help you level up and improve your character. Later on, these XPs will translate into further rewards from the allocated reward pool.

Can I participate in Ambire Legends with an Ambire web wallet or a mobile app?

No, the Ambire Legends dApp is desktop-only. To play, install the Ambire Wallet extension on a Chromium-based desktop browser like Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, or Arc.

Actions on which networks qualify for XP?

Currently, you will be able to earn XP for transacting on Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, and Scroll.
