Internet Computer Revenue Hits All-time Highs

Layer 1 blockchain Internet Computer (IC) has hit all-time highs in quarterly revenue for three straight quarters.
The chain’s previous cycle high was $1.16 million in Q1 2022, but ICP recorded $1.25 million in Q3 2024, $4.1 million in Q4 2024, and is at $5.7 million in Q1 2025, with a little over a week to go.

Internet Computer has earned 82% of its total $13.4 million in revenue over these last three quarters alone.
The increased revenue has been driven by a surge in decentralized exchange (DEX) trading volumes on the chain, peaking at $70 million in December 2024, compared to just $5.5 million in December 2023.

The network is developed by the DFINITY non-profit and raised $121 million across its 2017 initial coin offering (ICO) and two venture rounds led by a16z and Polychain Capital.
The network recently launched its Ninja Upgrade, meant to enhance the developer environment on the network through an AI-powered tool suite and UI overhaul.
