Denelle Dixon

Denelle Dixon is the CEO and Executive Director of the Stellar Development Foundation. Before Stellar, Dixon was COO of Mozilla, one of the most successful mission-driven open-source organizations. She led the organization’s business, revenue and policy teams. A lawyer by trade, Dixon previously served as a general counsel and legal advisor in private equity and technology. Throughout her career, Dixon has been a vocal advocate for net neutrality, encryption, the disclosure of vulnerabilities by governments, and greater user choice and control. Dixon holds a BA in Political Science from UC Davis and a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She currently sits on boards for Airtm, Tala, MoneyGram International, and Trust and Safety Professional Association. She was named to the Forbes 50 over 50 list in 2023.
