At The Defiant we cover the most important DeFi-related news and developments but we know many of you are hunting for projects before they are fully developed and before they are newsworthy. Our goal with this installment of the newsletter is to help you find them. Look at this as the starting point to DYOR.

Wemade, a game development company in South Korea, has bagged $46 million in funding. Investors that participated in the round include Microsoft, Shinhan Asset Management, and Kiwoom Securities.

💰 Pantera Capital Leads $10M Funding Round for Crypto Wallet Firm Braavos

Braavos raised a $10 million in a funding round led by crypto-focused investment giant Pantera Capital. Other investors included Road Capital, BH Digital, DCVC, Crypto. com, Matrixport, and StarkNet creator Starkware.

Centrifuge, a New York-based provider of a DeFi protocol to finance real-world assets (RWAs) on the blockchain, raised $4M in funding. The round was led by Coinbase Ventures with participation from L1 Digital and Scytale.

💰 Crypto Wallet Blocto Launches $3M Fund for Aptos-Based Projects

Blocto, a Mark Cuban-backed multi-chain crypto wallet and ecosystem, has opened a $3 million Aptos Ecosystem Fund to help projects onboard new users, according to a press release.
