Dubai to Open World’s First ‘Crypto Tower’ by 2027

Dubai is set to break ground on the world’s first Crypto Tower to house blockchain, DeFi, and Web3 companies.
The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and REIT Development announced plans on Jan. 15 to build a 17-story Crypto Tower, set to open in 2027. The tower will offer over 150,000 square feet of space, including nine office floors.
It will cater to blockchain incubators, venture capital firms, and AI innovation centers, marking a significant step in Dubai's push to become a global leader in cryptocurrency and digital asset development.
This landmark project is expected to attract key players in the crypto industry and further reinforce Dubai’s commitment to fostering growth in the digital assets sector amid a strategic push to become a global hub for innovation in blockchain technology.
“The Crypto Tower is a pioneering development that sits at the interface of blockchain, Web3 and real estate,” said Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman CEO, DMCC. “The launch of Crypto Tower is both a real-world demonstration of the future of Web3, where transparency and ownership are ensured by blockchain technology.”
Other features of the Crypto Tower include an NFT art gallery, a gold bullion shop, and an exotic car dealership, all of which aim to create a unique environment for the digital assets community.
