As Bitcoin breaches $60,000 and Etheruem breaks through $3,500, users are reporting outages across some of the largest platforms and websites associated with crypto.

Coinbase app is down, with customers saying balances on the U.S.’s largest crypto exchange are showing zero. Other platforms experiencing downtime include Coingecko, Robinhood, and Crypto.com, according to website Down Detector.

“We are aware that some users may see a zero balance across their Coinbase accounts & may experience errors in buying or selling,” Coinbase posted on X.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated, “we are dealing with a LARGE surge of traffic,” and that the team is “working to remediate.”

When crypto starts going parabolic, it’s common to see big name websites start to fail and suffer outages as users and traders flock in droves to use them.

Coinbase, the world’s second largest exchange, is no stranger of these events. Their outage is reminiscent of other bull runs–prompting pundits today to celebrate.

“Coinbase app is down, we are SO back,” wrote Will Clemente, crypto analyst and co-founder of Reflexivity Research.
