Stellar Launches new Contest to Crowdsource Innovation

The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) has opened up the Build Better contest, where anyone can share their vision and use case for enhancing financial access.

The contest encourages those with new and innovative solutions to submit their idea of how they would build a world with better finance, creativity, and accessibility, all made possible through blockchains and DeFi.

Through the Build Better contest, entrants have the chance to put forward their story that will be considered for prompts in upcoming hackathons. Participants will have a chance to compete for a $30,000 prize pool paid in USDC. Submissions can be in the form of a recorded video or a written social post with the hashtag #BetterOnStellar.

Submissions are expected to be at least 10 seconds and 20 words total, with a preference on video-based content.
