StarkNet Activity Hits Highest Level Since March

Ethereum Layer 2 network Starknet is showing renewed signs of life, as it clocks the highest weekly activity seen on the chain since March.
Between Nov. 11 and Nov. 18, nearly 800,000 transactions occurred on Starknet, compared to just 550,000 the week before and 365,000 a month ago, according to TokenTerminal. The chain’s revenue is also up significantly at $48,000 in fees last week compared to just $7,300 a month ago.

Other key metrics are also growing, with daily active users rising by 42% to over 8,000, bridge deposits climbing by 25% to $800 million, and the STRK token up nearly 40% over the last two weeks.
While there is no singular catalyst for the growth, Starknet has introduced a few major developments into its ecosystem, including STRK staking and a brand new roadmap.
Starknet’s new roadmap, released on Nov. 8, begins with the implementation of STRK staking on Nov. 26 and will conclude in April with the introduction of 2-second blocks, compared to the network’s current 30-second block time.
