Etherealize Unveils Institutional Marketing Initiative for Ethereum

Etherealize, an Ethereum marketing and product arm funded by the Ethereum Foundation (EF), has emerged from its stealth phase and aims to onboard institutions to the largest Layer 1 blockchain by total value locked.
The company will offer a content hub for Ethereum education, a product suite for institutional-grade application development, and vocal proponents that act as a marketing arm for corporate and policy-based adoption.
Etherealize is led by Vivek Raman, James Fickel, and Grant Hummer and was partially inspired by Ethereum ETFs’ lackluster volume. Upon launch, Hummer said, “We looked around and saw that institutional education about ETH was woefully lacking. Etherealize is here to fix not only that, but to bring all of Wall Street (and ultimately, the world) onto Ethereum rails.”
The Etherealize website includes educational articles written by Raman and a comprehensive dashboard displaying Ethereum-based data such as validation economics, burn rate, revenue, and capital secured by chain.
Etherealize is the latest effort from the Ethereum community to regain momentum after ETH underperformed the rest of the market in 2024. Ether is up just 36% since the start of 2024, compared to BTC’s 147% and SOL’s 164%.

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin appears to be getting behind the ecosystem’s attempted culture shift by changing his profile picture to a Milady NFT, while denouncing the community's attempt to force a leadership change at the Ethereum Foundation.
When social media users began to target EF board member Aya Miyagotchi, Buterin put his foot down and said, “Some of Ethereum's best devs have been messaging me recently, expressing their disgust with the social media environment that people like you are creating. YOU ARE MAKING MY JOB HARDER. And you are decreasing the chance I have any interest whatsoever in doing ‘what you want.’ Milady.”
