Fireblocks Launches Agentic Payments Suite for PSPs and Fintechs

Fireblocks announced the launch of its agentic payments suite, a new infrastructure offering designed to let payment service providers (PSPs) and fintechs integrate AI agents capable of executing cryptocurrency and digital asset transactions. The platform enables agents to connect to user wallets and autonomously handle payments for use cases including travel bookings, supply replenishment, software purchasing, and usage-metered API payments.

The agentic payments infrastructure combines Fireblocks' embedded wallet technology with its compliance and custody solutions to allow agents to transact securely. The solution addresses the emerging category of agentic commerce, where AI assistants move beyond research and recommendations to execute purchases and payments on behalf of users who have authorized wallet access.

Fireblocks positioned the offering as infrastructure for the next phase of AI adoption, noting that over a billion users already rely on AI assistants for research and planning. The suite integrates Fireblocks' MPC security framework alongside its compliance platform, addressing both custody and regulatory requirements for institutions deploying agentic payment flows.
