Immutable X, an NFT-focused layer 2 solution on Ethereum from the team behind the NFT trading card game Gods Unchained, has launched a test version of the network. Gods Unchained players have exclusive access for the time being.
Immutable X offers gas-free NFT minting, trading, and collecting, as well as near-instant transaction times. Immutable X is also aiming to be carbon neutral through the purchase of carbon-credits to offset any gas fees consumed on Ethereum.
While the market is currently only open for Gods Unchained, Immutable X will soon include other NFT games like My Crypto Heroes, Crypto Assault, and Guild of Guardians, and support major NFT marketplaces including OpenSea and Mintable.
